QUADERNO

Quaderno is a series dedicated to the practice of drawing, created in collaboration with Galleria Richter, Rome. The fourth volume features graphite drawings on paper by Brian Scott Campbell, produced on the occasion of his solo exhibition Fable (2025, Galleria Richter, Rome). In this collection, the artist explores a naïve approach that deliberately forgoes perspective relationships. His flat, geometric compositions create visionary and archaic scenes, inhabited by enigmatic, faceless figures. His sharp and incisive lines construct a space suspended between abstraction and narration.
