QUADERNO - limited edition

Quaderno is a series dedicated to the practice of drawing, created in collaboration with Galleria Richter, Rome. The third volume collects Sam Bornstein’s ink drawings on paper and unpublished poems, produced for his solo exhibition Cosmic Joke (2024, Galleria Richter, Rome). In these works, the artist explores the tension between the real and the fantastic, intertwining myths and archetypes, and the sense of the bizarre and the sacred. The drawings reflect a diaristic and dreamlike dimension, where the lines become vehicles for inner narratives and imaginative projections, offering an intimate glimpse into the artist’s creative process.

The first 10 copies feature original drawings on the back cover, created by the artist in Rome in September 2024.
