Quaderno is a series dedicated to the practice of drawing, made in collaboration with Galleria Richter, Rome. The publication contains Silvia Argiolas’ drawings exhibited in Song of myself (2022, Galleria Richter, Rome). The artist represents a black mythology that narrates ancestral fears, unspoken desires, and the maturing of identity in the relation between the individual and the external world. The depicted characters are accompanied by real and imaginary animals that participate in rites of passage and transformations. The cover features two works by artists Giulio Catelli and Luca Grechi.
The first 15 copies include original Indian ink drawings on paper by Silvia Argiolas, numbered and signed.
