TESTA SALPA

Testa salpa is a two-volume publication conceived by Marco Emmanuele on the occasion of the exhibition Testa salpa (2024, Operativa, Rome). The first volume features a selection of watercolors in dialogue with a collection of poems about the sea, gathered by the artist by photographing book pages with his smartphone. The second volume presents a selection of drawings alongside photographic documentation of the artist’s studio and the exhibition production process, captured by Fabio Barile. The volumes are accompanied by an insert with texts by Giuseppe Armogida and Giuseppe Garrera.
